The Rhodes Tennis Club hosts the 16 & Under 2026 Tennis Europe Summer Cups from July 29 to 31, in co-organization with Tennis Europe, the Hellenic Tennis Association, the South Aegean Region and the Municipality of Rhodes.
This is one of the most important international team competitions in the U16 category, which is part of the 2026 Billie Jean King Cup Juniors by Gainbridge and Davis Cup Juniors Competitions and functions as a European qualifying phase for the world finals.Top athletes under the age of 16 from Greece, Cyprus, Germany, Sweden, Serbia, Georgia, Latvia and Hungary will compete at the ROA stadiums.The opening ceremony will take place on July 28 at 19:00 at the Museum Square of the Medieval City, officially marking the start of an event of particular sporting and tourist importance for Rhodes.
The President of the ROA, Vasilis Arapis, stated: "Hosting the Tennis Europe Summer Cups is a great honor for our Club and for the entire island of Rhodes. Our goal is to offer the national teams and athletes the best possible conditions, but also to give our members and the local community the opportunity to witness the highest level of European tennis in the U16 category up close.".
