The 2024 European Summer Cups of the Billie Jean King Cup Juniors, hosted by the Rhodes Tennis Club in collaboration with the N. Aegean Region under the auspices of EFOA and Tennis Europe, was completed with complete success. In the final, Sweden emerged victorious, defeating Italy with a score of 3-0. Both countries secured their qualification for the final phase of the Billie Jean King Cup Juniors, proving their high competitive value. Greece took 3rd place after a thrilling 2-1 victory over Cyprus, which finished in 4th place. The final ranking of the remaining countries is as follows: 5th place for Bulgaria, 6th for Turkey, 7th for Malta and 8th for Armenia. In his speech, the president of the Rhodes Tennis Club, Mr. Vasilis Arapis, expressed his satisfaction for the excellent organization and success of the event. Mr. Arapis noted: “This year’s European Summer Cups was a complete success, receiving enormous publicity from the European Tennis Federation. The positive comments of all participants, both for the impressive opening ceremony in the Medieval City of Rhodes and for the organization of the tournament, are a great honor for us. Warm thanks are due to the volunteers, coaches and custodians of the Club for their dedication and effort.
